"evoke-03" is of Heather. In the first image the watch her fiance was wearing when he died from a brain aneurism five days after they got engaged is laying in front of her. In the second image she is holding the watch. The watch stopped working a few hours before he died with the hands frozen in place. The jeans she is wearing were his.

Evoke is life, death, connection, emotion, joy, tragedy, rage, resilience, triumph, agony, burning intensity. Evoke is passion.

Evoke is about exploring the intensity of emotion and feeling in life as brought forth through a connection to objects that elicit a strong emotion.

The main collection will unfold over the weeks and months ahead. There will also be sub-collections that give a deeper look into each shoot and the stories behind the images.
